# MakeaWish for 2011 and take a Melissa home!


To lock year 2010 with a golden key, and with a new Melissa, making a wish is enough.
It is the Cultural Contest Melissa Make a Wish, in which contestants create a phrase through Twitter, telling their new year resolutions.
Using the hashtag #MakeaWish2011, the 10 users of the most creative phrases win a Melissa Sin Make a Wish!
The hotsite, created and developed by Grafia, takes the phrases with such hashtag and publishes them, making a mosaic of wishes for 2011.

Grafia at November’s Exam PME

In an interview to Exame PME, our Directors Luciano, Cristiano and Simone disclose a part of our history, how everything started and how worthy it was to believe in an idea and not giving up when getting “no” as an answer.
We are proud and eager to expand further and further. Read part of Luciano’s statement:
“Unlike most of our competitors, who design, build up the site and deliver it to the client for him to operate, Grafia does everything. ‘We buy the products and resell them to e-stores with the client’s name’, he says.”

Grafia in Wide Magazine

Our Commercial Director, Cristiano Rosa, was interviewed by Wide Magazine telling the story on the success of the case Loja Melissa, for their November/December issue.

Among other things, Cris (we call him Cris), tells about the importance of e-mail marketing to achieve and exceed results.

“People talk very much about SM (Social Media) today, to communicate a brand name, but e-mail marketing is still very strong”, tells Cris.

Grafia people at the paintball

Last Thursday a good portion of the male wing did it. Or better, they did it with paint. Let’s explain: they joined to play paintball, that sport carried out in an open field, where every player has a gun with paint bullets.

The endeavor, idealized by the boys, relied on the presence of @entcardoso,@victorgrafia, @lemao_ , Rodrigo Cibils, @guilhermeerre, Thiago (AKA Old Boy), and @fbcouras.

The great winners of the night were the two Thiagos, who ended up without ammunition before one could put the other one down. Despite having been the last ones in the game, they say (they say!) that the one who killed most was Víctor.

Some shots were, let’s say, precise: Thiago was shot with a paint bullet on the eye, and Rodrigo was marked with a headshot.

In order to stimulate the competition, a barrel of Heineken was promised to the one who killed @fbcouras the most (don’t ask why).

The girls preferred to stay out, but they are already talking about organizing a football team.  Folks here never stop.

Grafia at the 2nd edition of Pompéia Fashion Weekend

For Grafia’s pride, our colleague Érica Esteves was invited to participate at the 2nd edition of the Pompéia Fashion Weekend 2010, an event promoted by Lojas Pompéia.  The fast fashion chain promotes three days of fashion, beauty and wellbeing at the main store in the Capital City, located in the building of old Cine Theatro Carlos Gomes.

There are three spaces inside the store: beauty (with renowned professionals that will give hints and will make the complete production of hair and make up); talk space (with live chats and exchanges of ideas with bloggers, journalists and fashion consultants) and the relax environment (with quick massage during the whole event).

On 9 September, our pupil and her blog partner (http://www.modabarata.com.br/), Sara Cadore, will take part in a chat, providing hints on high lowfast fashion combinations, besides talking on fashion blogs and will take a tour of the store, including experimenting products and live production of posts.

The event takes place on the 9, 10 and 11 September at the old Cine Theatro Carlos Gomes, downtown Porto Alegre.

Inside Grafia – Edilson is our guy

Our colleague Edilson Cardoso has been successful around the place. His project, Hâhnio – Ruídos pra Filmes de Horror B (Hahnio — Noises for Horror Movies B), was selected to compete at the Festival Internacional da Linguagem Eletrônica (Electronic Language International Festival) (FILE), that takes place annually in São Paulo.

The project competes in the FILE Hypersonic category, which highlights the musical, sonorous, visual and performing manifestations of electronic art. The shows of this category explore varied techniques of reception, production, emanation and programming of sound.

According to Edilson, who is 26 years old today, the work joins sonorous experimentations that he has been producing since high school:

“The idea is to try to transpose sensations to the listener, as defamiliarization and phobia. That’s why I titled it “Noises for Horror Movies B”. As to “Hahnio”, that’s the name I gave to the whole project. Since it is about experimental soundtracks, I usually use several sound sources, from the guitar, keyboard, microphonics, vocals, etc.”

Result of the Cultural Contest Tio João Fans’ Support Cry


The Cultural Contest Tio João Fans’ Support Cry is over. After 15 days receiving more than 500 phrases remindful of the World Cup, our client selected the best fans support cry by Daiana Silva dos Santos for the games of the Brazilian National Team: “It’s strength, it’s courage, it’s determination. It’s Tio João fans wishing good luck to our National Team!”

The prizes kit with products of the line Tio João and the official jersey of the National Team were a means for paying homage to the fans of the country of football by means of a fun activity with the creative partaking of Internet surfers.

The sending of the marketing e-mail fostered the increase of the number of logins to the blog Tio João and a growth of 15% related to the same period of the previous month. For those still unaware of the blog Tio João, take the chance to know it: there is always something delicious there!

For men, M:ZERO

The new shoes for men by Grendene got an exclusive hotsite. The new trademark called M Zero, has two exclusive models for men. The conception of the product direclty influenced this project, which has an initial presentation based on the concept of the shoe: clean and modern.

Outstanding M Zero I and M Zero II, the hotsite shows both of them in detail and offers signing up for newsletter. And we can already advance the latest news: an online store M Zero will be launched. We will soon announce such arrival!

Melissa and Grafia in the Fashion Weeks

The Fashion Weeks of the national calendar are over. Fashion Rio and São Paulo Fashion Week have amounted to almost 15 days of fashionable trends followed by thousands of people.

Grafia, in charge of the digital work of Melissa, has been closely following the work of the trademark in both cities during those days. The lounges, visited and contended by Melissa fans from all over the world were a must for those visiting the Biennale in São Paulo, or Píer Mauá in Rio de Janeiro.

The models of the new Collection Melissa Amazonista were the star of the trademark and we covered such launching for the summer 2011 in the blog and the twitter of the trademark.

The model Melissa + Gaetano Pesce, launched during Fashion Rio between May 27th and June 1st, was one of the greatest inspiratons. Cais do Porto had a space in the style of the customizable sandal, and was successful among the people there.
In São Paulo, Grafia jointly with Melissa carried out an event prior to the Fashion Week in Melissa Gallery in which it presented the models of the Amazonista Collection to the fans of the trademark. In such opportunity, Grafia displayed its work with the digital media, and the relation of the trademark with bloggers, clients and Internet surfers in general.
Great success!


On the following day, on the beginning of the São Paulo Fashion Week, we presented the latest by the trademark, and, most of all, we had a more personal contact with those who we have already known for years. After all, Grafia and Melissa have been together for over 10 years.

The Melissa lounge is always one of the busiest spaces at the Biennale, and guests have been widely pampered. The models of the Amazonista Collection, the summer collection by the trademark, were the star.

You can see the pictures and what was presented at those events in the blog and the twitter of Melissa. Interviews, new collection, and lots of fresh news directly from the capitals of Brazilian fashion were recorded by Grafia. Once again, a partner of success.

Coza at Home: Cultural Contest for those in love

Coza at Home: my place, yours, ours … That’s the new Cultural Contest that we have developed for our client specialist in design plastic products. During the Sweethearts’ month, Coza will accept pictures of couples in rooms of their homes enhanced by the products by the trademark.

The idea is to allow Coza to get to some people’s homes, selected by a commission of the trademark, and foster further inspiration to couples. Such pictures will be available in the session “Gallery” and shall be sent jointly with the answer to the question: “How can Coza products make your place nicer and your love deeper?” Both the winning answers and images will be awarded Coza kits to decorate their homes and make their places even cozier.
Said Cultural Contest is an advancement of a new section in the Coza site. “Coza at Home” will shortly be a space devoted to the Internet users for them to upload their pictures and share on the net their images with the products by the trademark. A way of honoring consumers and presenting new uses of the goods by the trademark.
